Late Mrs Palmer
The funeral took place at Alverstoke Parish Church and Ann's Hill Cemetery, Gosport, on the Wednesday, of Mrs Georgina Belinda Palmer, of Darreen, Anglesey Road, Alverstoke, who died on Monday in her 96th year.
She was the seventh child of the late Captain Hartford of Kilkenny, Eire, and the widow of Surgeon Joseph Mansergh Palmer, who was formerly at the County Infirmary, Armagh, Northern Ireland.
The service was conducted by the Rev. C.H. Heath-Caldwell (son-in-law), and the chief mourners were: Vice-Admiral and Mrs A.R. Palmer (son and daughter-in-law), Miss G.W. Palmer (daughter), Captain E. M. Palmer R.N. (ret.), and Major R.L. Palmer R.A. (ret.) (sons), the Rev. C.H. and Mrs Heath-Caldwell (son-in-law and daughter), Mrs Roger de Quincey (grand-daughter), and Mr Robert de Quincey. Dr P.M. Terry, Mrs Kathleen Warren, Nurse Watts, Captain George Hartford R.N. (ret.), Captain Cecil Sandford R.N., Captain and Mrs A. Stokes, Mrs MacNeill, Mrs Digby Bell, and Mrs Todd.
The arrangements were carried out by Messrs S.H. Hopkins and Co, of Stoke Road, Gosport.
