At a Meeting of the Constitutional Association for Opposing the Progress of Disloyal and Seditious Principles held on Friday, the 22nd December 1820, at the King’s Head Tavern, in the Poultry, London – Sir John Sewell Knt. LL.D. in the Chair.
It was unanimously resolved to circulate among the Members and Friends of the Association the following Address – The prevalence of disloyal and seditious principles, to a great and alarming extent, among certain classes of our fellow subjects, is unhappily too notorious, at the present time, to admit of doubt or discussion.

Shortly will be published, under the patronage of his Majesty to whom, by command, it is dedicated – A large Historical Engraving by Mr Sharp, of the Interview in 1647, after a Separation of neary Two Years, between Charles the First and his Children, at the Inn at Maidenhead, in the presence of Oliver Cromwell. Of this Interview, Cromwell afterwards declared to his Officers he had never witnessed a more affecting scene. The Plate being finished, the impressions will be ready for delivery to the Subscribers in May next.
Subscriptions received at Messrs Marsh and Co., Bankers, Berners Street. Proofs – Six Guineas; Prints, Three Guineas. Half to be paid at the time of subscribing.
