Joseph Heath (Attorney) born, first son of George Heath, of Butcher Row, Newgate Street, by his second wife, Mary Humball. Was still alive about 1820 - unmarried.

From 1754, George Heath set himself up as a book-binder in Butcher Hall Lane, Newgate, with four apprentices, and it was probably here that young James got most of his early education
