In Prescot Street, Goodman's-Fields. Author of the Lignorum Anti-Scorbutic Drops - - -
Sir, It is with great Pleasure and Satisfaction I can inform you that my Wife has received Cure by the Lignorum Anti-Scorbutic Drops, of a Cancer in her Breast, which to all appearances seemed incurable, having in it several ulcers or holes which became every day more corrupted, and was continually attended with such severe burning that her life was really miserable. I therefore send you this, with my Consent to make it public in any Manner you please, as I think so valuable a Medicine and extraordinary a Cure should be universally known.

- - - These Drops will perfectly Cure the most inveterate Scurvy, Leprosy, Pimple Faces of ever so long standing; likewise the Evil, Fistulas, Piles old obstinate Sores or Ulcers, and is a Sovereign Remedy in all Disorders arising from the foulness of Blood, incident to the Fair Sex, and may be taken by Persons of the delicate Constitutions without the least inconvenience - - - - Dr.Flugger, at Number 15 Prescot Street, Goodman's Fields, London, the only Author and Proprietor of these Drops, where they are sold, at 5s. the Bottle with Directions. Dr.Bateman's Pectoral Drops, prepared by Dicey and Okell, in Bow-Churchyard, London, which, for more than 50 years have been universally known to be safest and surest Relief in the most acute Rheumatism, pains in the Brest, Limbs, and Joints, Fluxes and Agues, slow and latent fevers (preferable to any powders & new inventions, &c) a single dose remarkably stops the progress of a cold and certainly prevents the ill consequences arising from that very common disorder, the Forerunner to most distempers. Gentlemen may be supplied with all Sorts of new Books, Numbers, Weekly or Monthly Publications, as soon after they are published as possible. He binds Books in Vellum, Turkey, Morocco, Russia, &c., in the most curious Manner, both for Neatness and Variety. - County Shop-keepers and Schoolmasters may be served with Writing Paper, School Books, Slates &c. as cheap as in London.
Where may be had the greatest Variety of new fashioned Painted Hangings, for Rooms, Staircases, &c., as cheap as of the Makers - Many Patterns at Two pence Halfpenny per Yard, and others will be sold lower than Prime Cost.

The third edition, with many additions and improvements; particularly an Account of the British Empire, not in any former edition of this Work, and illustrated with eighteen maps and cuts, accurately engraved, addressed to the young gentlemen and ladies of Great Britain and Ireland. A View of the Earth:
Being a short, but comprehensive System of Modern Geography. Exhibiting,
1. A description of the figure, size, motion, &c. of the earth, with the uses and height of the atmosphere or air surrounding it.
2. Such geographical definitions, schemes and descriptions as form a necessary introduction to this branch of learning.
3. The situation and extent of the several kingdoms and nations in each quarter, their chief city, the distance, direction and difference of time from London.
4. An account of the several islands, trade, commodities, religions, number of inhabitants, principal mountains, and rivers in the world, also some observations on the less known parts, the trade winds, and monsoons.
5. The explanation and use of a new set of maps, annexed to the several quarters, drawn according to the most approved modern projections, and regulated by observation.
6. A description of Commodore Anson's voyage round the world, shewing the several islands and countries he touched at; and the places where he took any prize, particularly the rich Manilla ship.
7. A new and curious geographical clock, which points out the difference of time, with the hour, in the different nations upon the earth, at one view. - - -
