Cynegetica, or Essays on Sporting - Engraved by James Heath after Thomas Stothard R.A. - Published by John Stockdale - This edition includes William Somerville's 'The Chace' (no engravings); it was the first work in which James Heath engraved sporting prints. He received ten guineas from Stockdale for each.

Picturesque Views of the Principal Seats of the Nobility and Gentry in England and Wales. Engraved by James Heath after Richard Corbould, C.Metz and others. Published by Harrison & Co. Published between 1788 and 1792, when four of the plates (Danson Hill, Cleifden House, Caen Wood and Sherbourne Castle) were republished in 'Walker's Itinerant' which from j1792-96 became 'The Copperplate Magazine.' Some of the plates here were evidently engraved long before 1788 (Caen Wood and Wilton House for instance bear the dates of 1 Sept. and 1 Dec.1782) while Cliefden House is dated 1 November 1792, suggesting that this was a repaired or retouched plate.

Hume's History of England - Engraved by James Heath after Thomas Stothard R.A. Published by T.Cadell. Published 1st January 1788.' James Heath received 15 guineas for engraving Edward III. A receipt dated 31 January 1792 shows that Cadell paid him £110.5.0 for repairing 30 plates for this popular work at £3½ guineas each, and 2 guineas each for the plates of Stephen and Edward III.

Conditions.

3. In the Course of the Work will be given, gratis, One Hundred and Fifty Copper-plates, elegantly engraved.
4. Number 1, will be published on Saturday February 2 1788, with which will be given a new and elegant Frontispiece, designed by Stothard, and engraved by Heath.
5. The subsequent Numbers will be regularly published every week till the Work is compleated.
