A Voyage round the World in the Years 1785-88 (Jean-Francois Galaup, Comte de Laperouse, Ed. Milet-Moreau) - 10+ plates engraved by James Heath after J.M.Moreau de Vancy. Published by G.G.J. and J.Robinson and others. Three volumes 'Publ. Nov.1 1798' with its title in French. James Heath re-engraved the plates from the larger plates of the original French edition (1798) in which No.3 was Plate No.II. 'engraved by Godefroy adter Gouzot': Godefroy is said to have been Heath's pupil for awhile.

It seems more than likely that James Heath undertook the engraving of all these as well: the details here are taken from John Stockdale's smaller edition published in two volumes on 10 June 1798 with illustrations by other engravers.

The Naval Chronicle, Vol.I. Two plates, size 20 x 12cm engraved by James Heath after Richard Westall R.A., published by Bunney and Gold. The second one was republished and re-engraved in the editions published in 1800 and 1801.

Separate print - Portrait of Kemble - plate size 25 x 22cm, engraved by James Heath after George Chinnery - Published by J.Heath, Darling and Thompson. Framed oval stipple engraving dated 'Feb.1.1799.' James Heath's address is given as '42 Newman St,' the last year in which he is believed to have lived there, before moving to 15 Russell Place.

Separate print - Portrait of Samuel Johnson L.L.D. - plate size 16 x 13cm. Engraved by James Heath after Sir Joshua Reynolds R.A. Published by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme and Brown. 'From a painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds in the possession of B.Langton esq.' 'Published January 1799' See 1789 and 1790 for earlier engravings of Dr.Johnson by James Heath. The print appears to have served as the frontispiece to various editions of Johnson's Dictionary, notably in 1806, when it was re-engraved. It was also republished by Longmans in 1804.

The Subscribers to the Portrait of Mr.Charles Lawson, are informed That Proof Impressions from a Plate engraved by James Heath, Historical Engraver to his Majesty, from a Portrait of the Gentleman, taken by Mr.Craig, are ready for delivery at the Librarian's Room, at the College, Manchester.
Those Gentlemen who have not yet paid their subscriptions are requested to pay the same, immediately to Mr.Robert Hindley, Senior.

Mr.Walker, who for a long series of years has lectured almost over the whole of the kingdom, on the different branches of natural philosophy; and who was remarkable for his clear and perspicuous mode of conveying pleasure and improvement to his hearers, has, at length, through the importunity of his friends, published his lectures in one very large quarto volume, with numerous illustrative plates.
The first volume of Dr.Shaw's Natural History, will be published about Christmas next; the we understand, are engraved in the first style of elegance by Heath.
