The True Original British Oil,
Made by Samuel Boden, Edmund Darby, and Company.

This excellent Oil, taken inwardly, is unparall'd for its Prevalency in Coughs, Asthma's, Hysterick Fits, Vapours, and Nervous Complaints of every kind: It is an effectual Destroyer of Worms in Adult Persons, as well as Children; it staunches Fluxes of all Sorts, and is an uncommon Restorative in all Consumptive Cases: Impotency and Weakness in either Sex, &c. Outwardly applied it give Ease in the Goud, Sciatica, Rheumatism, or any other Bodily Pains: It stops a Mortification to Admiration, cools the Anguish of Burns and Scalds, and surpasses any Ointment whatsoever for the Piles; it cicatrizes a fresh Wound at once or twice dressing, heals Children's Scald Heads, and gives immediate Ease to the Tooht-Ach.

"We the above Samuel Boden, Surgeon, and Edmund Darby, of Colebrook Dale, in the County of Salop, have justly and effectually vindicated our original Property of making and selling the Genuine British Oil; and the Patent obtained upon false Suggestions, by Michael and Thomas Betton is vacated."
