Just arrived from London - Appointed by the Proprietor.
To be Sold Wholesale and Retail, by J.Roe, Bookseller in Derby, Mr.Joseph Heath in Nottingham, Mr.John Kirkby, Druggist in Sheffield; and Retail by Mr.Salt at Wirksworth, and Miss Ward in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. It is also sold Wholesale at the Proprietor's Warehouse at the Castle Inn in Wood Street, London

The British Liquid Blue
In Pint and Smaller Bottles

Which has been experienced in different Parts of England and Scotland, to answer all the Purposes of Washing and Bleaching of Linnens, Muslins, Cambricks, &c. Giving the bright Blue Cast require to make their Colour clear and beautiful, in which it is no way inferior to the best Smalt, and greatly surpasses what is called Fig or Stone Blue.

This Colour is retailed at 14d. per Pint Bottle, which goes as far in Use as two Pounds of Powder-blue, and smaller Bottles of it are sold at 6d. each. Three Drops in more than a Pint being sufficient to answer the Purpose.

The great Advantage that accrue to he Public from the Use of this Commodity, in a general Extent are very conspicuous when it is considered that every Family do use more or less of Blue in washing of Linnens &c. and this being afforded for less than half price that others Sorts cost, will occasion the Saving of much Money to the Community, and prevent an immense Sum being sent from Great Britain to Foreign Parts, for Smalt, the other Ingredients for Blue-making: Whoever also uses this Liquid Blue, at once cultivates his particular Interest and promotes the Good of his Country, by encouraging its Manufactures. It is hoped therefore, that all Families, Bleaches, &c. laying aside any Prejudice that may be conceived for new Inventions, will make Trial of this valuable and useful Commodity, and make use of it according to its Merit.

N.B. Samples will be given gratis, at the above Places, and printed Directions for using with each Bottle.
