Baileys famous Ointment for the Cure of the Itch, Made only by Elizabeth Rogers, Bookseller, Bury
Which infallibly cures all Persons infected therewith within twelve Hours, without Danger (by only anointing themselves once, and changing their Linnen next Morning) as has been happily experienced near 40 years by many thousands in the Nation, and is now esteemed and recommended as the best, and most infalliable Remedy for that pernicious Distemper that was ever found out, never having bene once known to fail, if used according to the Directions. Please to Observe that I sign my own Hand Writing on the Bills of Direction given with each Pot. Price eighteen pence a Pot. One Pot will do for a grown Person, or two Children.
The said Ointment is appointed to be sold by the following Persons only; and therefore the Publick are desired to be cautious that they are not imposed on by a counterfeit Sort sold at other Places, which will not answer the End desired, but may injure the Party who makes use thereof.
