Lowndes' Shakespeare - published by T. & W. Lowndes. Published in London on 30 January 1786; apparently as a continuation of, or in connection with, Lowndes' New English Theatre (1783) Some of the plates bear earlier dates however. 

1. Measure Act 3. Sc.1.'O prince I conjure thee...' plate size 13 x 9cm. engraved by James Heath after M.A.Rooker. date 21 January 1874. 

2. Julius Ceasar, Calpurnia: 'Do not go forth today...' - plate size 13 x 9 cm. engraved by James Heath after Cipriani. 

3. The Winter's Tale; 'Pray now, buy some ...' - plate size 12 x 8 cm. - date 25 July 1783  - engraved by James Heath after M.A.Rooker. - may be James Heath's earliest Shakespeare engraving.

The Aptheosis of Handel - plate size 35 x 25. - published May 21 1787. Although inscribed 'Heath sculp,' William Sandby, in his History of the Royal Academy' states that this engraving was almost entirely the work of Anker Smith. James Heath's principal assistant at the time.

Portrait of Mrs.Jordan - Engraved by James Heath after J.Russell R.A. - plate size 5 x 9cm. Oval in stipple, to be found in either sepia or black. The Huntington copy is a black proof marked 'Engraved after his own design,' and dated 1787. Mrs Jordan was a well-known actress, and mistress to the Duke of Clarence, a member of the Royal Family to whom James Heath became 'Historical Engraver.' ca. 1805.

By Authority of His Majesty's Letters Patent, granted to Thomas Jackson, the following Valuable Genuine Medicines, are sold at Jackson and Co's. Wholesale Medicinal Warehouse, No.95 Fleet Market, London:

The Famous Patent Ointment for the Itch. This excellent Composition has been proved by long experience to be an infallible Remedy for the Itch. It completely removes the disorder at twice rubbing; and at the same Time that it operates so expiditiously, it does not the least injure to the delicate Constitution. Its Flavour is agreeable, and it does not stain the linen. Its Utility must be very great in every Family, but above all in Schools, in which the most ruinous Consequences have been felt from suffering the Itch to extend its Progress. A better Proof of the salutary Effects of this Medicine need not be given, than the frequent but unsuccessful Attempts which ingenious Men have lately made to discover a Substitute for it: - Of such imposition the Public will do well to beware. 

2nd. Jackson's Tincture for the Rheumatism, Gravel, Stone, Griping of the Bowels, &c. Immediate relief may be expected from the Use of this Medicine; if taken to the Quantity of one or two bottles, it will generally remove the Complaint.  - - - continues - - - -
