Dear Mr Stubbs.

The Children's Officer in Nottingham asked us to let Mrs Swallow know when Bill should return to Wing, and I have now written her saying he should go back on the 8th or 9th January. 

I have said we are assuming the relative who took him to Nottingham would be able to bring him back, and have asked her to write to me straight away if there will be an difficulty about this.

I have explained that you have your party on the 8th, beginning about five o'clock, and have said if BIll returns on this day he should arrive before five o'clock.
